Hi Everyone! Just a couple of house keeping items from REAL Training:

1. If you didn’t put your AAU Membership Number on your form, I’ll need to get that from you ASAP. Please text me that so I can make sure we’re good there.

2. I put a link in the Chat to our new pre-practice health screening. Make sure to complete this before practice every day.

3. There are a few of you that I still need payment from for the Pre-Winter Season Training. I’ll be sending all paperwork and checks to the director of REAL Training tomorrow and will need this by today’s practice. If this applies to you and we haven’t already talked about it, text me so we can take care of this.

4. I posted the current meet schedule in the documents section of this app – take a look at it and start thinking about some of the meets you might want to attend in Jan./Feb. Traveling is NOT required, especially out of state, but the opportunity does exist for you to take advantage of if you’d like. You and your parents are responsible for travel costs. If you want to participate in any of the meets let me know.

For the distance athletes: IF you would like to race before the holidays, I’d recommend finding a local turkey trot to sign up for. We are going to be focusing on building mileage and our foundation the next two months to prepare for racing opportunities in Jan./Feb. and to ultimately (most importantly) set you up to have a successful outdoor season beginning in April. Anything we do competitively between now and January should only be for fun.

5. I’ve also set up a practice schedule in the team app. There’s an option to RSVP. This is only important for our Thursday practices when we are at Integrity and are limited to 50 people maximum in the facility. It’s obviously not an issue now, but in case our group grows to that size soon, we may have to offer a first come first serve practice opportunity.
