Run this week!

Hey everyone! I hope you all are enjoying a down week of easy running and no workouts so far. At the risk of sounding contradictory, I just want to encourage all of you to still get out there and run, even though it is supposed to be a very easy week of training. Taking too many days off from running can set us back further than we want to be which will slow down the process of preparing for our first race. So get out there and get some easy runs in!

I’ll also ask all of you to take advantage of the down time by thinking about your own goals for the upcoming season, school year, and for the team. Try to avoid goals that have specific numbers (I.e. specific times/PRs) as much as possible. Please write these down and be prepared to share these with the team at the official beginning of the season.
